CASE at EAM 2027 |
The CASE Association invites case writers, educators, and scholars to participate in CASE programming at EAM 2027. Whether you are developing your first case, refining a work in progress, or preparing a completed case for publication, CASE offers a supportive and rigorous environment for receiving feedback, developing your skills, and connecting with experienced case authors and educators.
All CASE events for 2027 will take place on Thursday, May 20, 2027, as part of the EAM Annual Meeting at George Mason University’s Mason Square in Arlington, Virginia.

CASE is committed to advancing high-quality case research, writing, instruction, and publication while promoting cases as respected intellectual contributions. Participants benefit from developmental support, thoughtful feedback, and engagement with a professional network of case researchers and educators. Submissions are welcome from all disciplines and experience levels.

CASE Registration — $35
Your registration includes:
Add the Instructor’s Manual Workshop — $25
For an additional $25, reserve your place in the hands-on Instructor’s Manual Workshop, held Thursday from 12:15–1:45 PM.
A boxed lunch is included.
Pre-registration is required through the EAM registration system.
Compact cases are welcome across submission categories. CASE provides different developmental opportunities depending on where you are in the case-writing process.
Have a compelling case idea that is still in its infancy?
Submit a one-page outline using the Embryo form available through the CASE Association. Include the questions and developmental challenges you are facing so experienced colleagues can provide targeted feedback to help move your idea forward.
Please note: Each participant may submit only one embryo case.
If your case is still in the developmental stage, this category provides an opportunity to receive comprehensive roundtable feedback on different aspects of your case.
Participants can also receive guidance on developing an effective instructor’s manual.
Have you completed both your teaching case and instructor’s manual?
Receive feedback designed to help you refine your work and prepare it for publication submission.
Completed cases accompanied by an instructor’s manual will also be considered for the annual Best Case Award by the CASE Association.

Join CASE experts for a hands-on workshop focused on developing effective instructor’s manuals.
Participants will explore the key steps involved in creating an instructor’s manual that is both engaging and grounded in theory. The workshop will address required elements as well as practical strategies for strengthening the scholarly contribution of your case.
