Conference Theme:

Entrepreneurial Thinking Across Boundaries: Reimagining Business and Academia

Hosted by Costello College of Business

This year’s conference theme, “Entrepreneurial Thinking Across Boundaries: Reimagining Business and Academia”, invites scholars, educators, and practitioners to explore how entrepreneurial mindsets can transform both organizational practice and academic environments. Entrepreneurial thinking—characterized by opportunity recognition, innovation, adaptability, and value creation—extends beyond startups and into classrooms, research agendas, and institutional strategy. We encourage submissions that examine how such thinking can drive impactful research, enhance teaching and learning, foster cross-sector collaboration, and address complex societal challenges. In alignment with the Eastern Academy of Management’s commitment to high-quality scholarship, ethical practice, and inclusive community, this theme seeks to amplify diverse perspectives and advance new insights at the intersection of entrepreneurship, management education, and organizational innovation.
